Cotton and towelling fabric go together like a perfectly matched couple. Towels can be made from all sorts of fabrics, including fellow natural fibres like Bamboo, or synthetics like Microfibre. 

As an English brand, born in the ‘Cottonopolis’ of Manchester, UK, cotton has always been our hero fabric. We always use OEKO-TEX cotton, and a large part of our ever-expanding collections use high-quality, long-fibre varieties like Turkish Cotton, Egyptian Cotton and Supima® Cotton. This means every one of our towels exudes quality, durability and comfort. But what about the plushness factor? This comes down to not just the fabric used, but the weave and technology behind them. #1 The Renaissance   

Made with extra-long staple Egyptian cotton from the River Nile, we call this towel a soothing hug for the skin. The pile is longer than most, giving the Renaissance a fluffy feel. It has the loft and fluffiness of a luxury towel, but the Supreme is a little different to the Renaissance and Luxe. It’s still weighty, at 650 GSM and it has a short loop construction compared to the long-looped Renaissance. But the Supreme feels buttery soft and cushioned, with a bouncy plushness that blooms after washing. Preserving plushness  

There are some simple ways to keep your towels fresh and fluffy. Heavyweight towels add to a sense of luxury, but they also need to be washed in the right way and aired properly to dry after use.
