A careful selection of natural fibres includes cotton, silk, cashmere, Organic cotton and Tencel; wellness-bringing, feel-good fabrics with a sensory depth. Wherever possible we leverage the beauty of the finest fabrics, respecting the qualities of the raw material and sourcing and manufacturing responsibly.

Better Cotton (BC)
Better Cotton (BC) is a global non-profit that aims to make
the cotton industry better. That extends to the people that produce it, the environment that it grows in and preserving a better future for the cotton industry on the whole. Better Cotton does this by training farmers in practices to safeguard soil health, water stewardship, carbon capture, and biodiversity.
The Better Cotton 2030 strategy in five:-
- Income: increasing net incomes
and security for two million smallholder cotton farmers and workers. - Empowering women: With a focus on educational training and resources.
- Soil health: Supporting cotton farmers to improve the health of their soil.
- Reducing pesticides: Limiting the use and risk of synthetic pesticides applied by BCI farmers by at least half.
- Greenhouse emissions: Reducing greenhouse gases by 50% per tonne of Better Cotton lint.
Our Certifications
Made in Green by OEKO-TEX®
OEKO-TEX's Made in Green is a certification that follows four key ethical principles. Many of Christy’s products are Made in Green and follow guidelines within these four areas. Compared to GOTS-certified organic, Made in Green is not as stringent, but it is an important step to align key ethical principles across the industry.
To be Made in Green, a product has to be:
Environmentally friendly production
This means facilities that proactively manage the chemicals used to dye, print, and process textiles, and that manage their wastewater, textile waste, and emissions responsibly.
Social working conditions
Manufactured in socially responsible environments where employees have fair working conditions (like reasonable hours and living wages) and there are bans on forced and child labour. It also specifies that occupational health and safety is in place) there is adequate fire protection, building safety, and protective equipment, and that dust, noise, and heat do not threaten workers' health.
Transparent Supply Chains
Created in a transparent supply chain so that we can trace the end product back to its source, ensuring things have been properly handled every step of the way.

Forest Stewardship Council
We've dramatically reduced our waste plastic by switching to cloth and paper based packaging materials. All of the card used in our packaging is certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), which means it's been given the thumbs up by the world's most trusted sustainable forest management agency.
